Lauren O'Brien

I am a senior at The University of Kansas studying psychology and journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication. I currently work as a marketing intern at the University Career Center, where I write blog posts, update and analyze multiple social media platforms and collaborate with a team of four interns to brainstorm and implement new, fun marketing strategies to reach students. I am also the public relations/advertising manger for Delta Epsilon Iota, a career-focused honor society, and an American Advertising Federation of Kansas City Foundation Scholarship Recipient.

Outside of my busy life as a student, I enjoy reading, running, KU basketball and making elaborate plans to travel the world. I am currently searching for an internship with awesome people that will help me further develop the skills I have acquired through academic coursework and student involvement in order to become a brand-building genius.
