- What do you want to do when you "grow up" and why?

I want to teach parenting classes through the programs that hospitals and women's centers have for new parents.

WSU Tidbits:

- Why did you choose WSU?

I love the small community feel, the ecstatic atmosphere, and how much everyone who goes here truly loves it! Everyone here is like family. Once a coug, always a coug!

- What was your first day of classes like?

I planned ahead and went and found where my classes were before the first day so that I wouldn't get too lost. The awe of how professional everything was and how excited I was to begin my journey in higher education, I will never forget!

- What advice do you have for new students?

Get Involved! I can be super shy at first, but I just knew that if I worked past that, I would meet some amazing people; and I did! There is not one "best path" for a student to take. There are hundreds of organizations you can join and thousands of people to meet! Just remember to relax and enjoy yourself!

- What advice do you have for parents?

Enjoy this experience as much as your child is! You've spent their whole life preparing them for this, so just sit back, relax a tiny bit, and enjoy how much your child is going to learn and grow in such a short amount of time. This is such an exciting time in their life!!
