I'm a freelance translator working from Spanish to English.

I'm a native English speaker with a high proficiency in Castilian Spanish, I've lived in Spain for several years and am married to a native Spanish speaker. I have worked as an English teacher for many years. Because of that I am familiar with the grammar, vocabulary and subtitles of both English and Spanish.

My main strength is a love of languages, I love exploring the nuances of language and because of that I can guarantee a very high quality translation. I am committed to providing high quality and to meeting deadlines. I believe in doing outstanding work that keeps my clients coming back for more.

I am a voracious reader, I like to read books on various topics in both languages, which leads to an increased vocabulary and a better understanding of how the languages work. My principal hobby is language learning, to various degrees of fluency I speak French, Portuguese, Italian and I am currently learning Chinese. I feel that with each language I study I learn more about the languages I already speak. I am enthusiastic about my work, and I love to learn.
