Besides for primarily being known as a seasoned businessman, philanthropist and entrepreneur, Ofer Kerzner extended his wide range of experiences even further when he was appointed as an Honorary Consul for the Ukrainian Consulate in Jerusalem. His strong business acumen and connections with both Israel and the Ukraine allow him to bring the two nations closer together via his own business ventures, as well as connecting businessmen in one country with their counterparts in the other. His other ventures include a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, fashion and toxic waste treatment, as well as the development of high-tech, energy and agriculture in the Ukraine.
Background and City Capital Group
Ofer Kerzner was born in 1957. In 1998 Kerzner started using his entrepenureal skills in the Ukraine. He is the owner of City Capital Group. The company spearheads many different real estate projects within the Ukraine. Among the company’s many achievements under Kerzner, they developed a modern mall in Kiev. Other projects include a Convention Center, an industrial center and construction of a prestigious residential area in Kiev. The latter is located in what is said to be the most expensive area in the Ukraine.
Philanthropic Causes
Ofer Kerzner has contributed to numerous causes that benefit the State of Israel, and also connects new immigrants in that country to their new homeland. Besides his work as Honorary Consul, Kerzner supports Border Patrol units in the Judea and Shomron areas of Israel and helps to provide financial assistance to lone soldiers in Israel’s army. In addition, he contributes to the Garin Tzabar program which helps Zionistic youth adapt to life in Israel, and prepare and guide them through a life in the Israel Defense Forces.
