Esther is an environmental scientist with keen interest on marine conservation. She is an award-winning conservationist, having worked with various organizations at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, climate change and plastic pollution. She is currently serving as the National Coordinator for the Kenyan Youth Biodiversity Network, providing strategic leadership and oversight for organizational activities on youth involvement in biodiversity-related policy formulation, advocacy, implementation, and spearheading of on-the-ground youth-led conservation efforts to halt the loss of both marine and terrestrial biodiversity. Esther's goal is to inspire collaborative action that galvanizes integrated land-sea governance and coordinated protection of these ecosystems.
