Ogden O'Reilly Hyland

Ogden O’Reilly-Hyland lives in NY city with his family. He enjoys spending time with friends and playing sports during his free time. With his family, he travels around the world to destinations where the family is involved with local charities that the family can spend time on site while learning more about how they work and what they can do to support them. Ogden O’Reilly-Hyland has visited destinations in the United States and abroad and will visit South Africa in the spring to spend time with Ubuntu, a group that nurtures HIV children there.

Mr. O’Reilly-Hyland and his family enjoy donating their time and resources to several global charities, among them The Mariposa DR Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to women’s education and empowerment in the Dominican Republic. The family first donated a room in Louisa O'Reilly Hyland's name and this year one in honor of Ogden O'Reilly-Hyland. Next year Oliver O'Reilly-Hyland will sponsor a room as well. During their vacations to the DR, everyone spends the morning or afternoon at the center with the children.

Ogden O’Reilly-Hyland started surfing at a young age and has now surfed at some of the world’s most popular surfing destinations that also happen to coincide with the philanthropic holidays, including the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. He is currently learning how to snowboard. He has an eclectic palate and enjoys food as varied as the places he has traveled.
