Othman Janahi
I started working at an early age of 19 as a cashier in one of the commercial banks of Bahrain and was moved in a years time to the Treasury Department; at the same time I was attending University. After 6 years of work and study managed to graduate with an MBA degree.
After the MBA and the 6 years of experience in the Treasury I decided to shift career and enter in the Corporate Finance and Project Finance which I stayed working in it for a good 7 years.
Due to the mix of experience I had, I was approached by the shareholders of the Blue City project in Oman to work on the structure of the US$925 Million Phase 1 EuroBond which was succesfully closed in November 2006.
Currently; I am the Chief Investment Officer of Durrat Marina Al-Bahrain.
