KOPANGO! My name is Ojok. I am an honest and happy person in life and work and always smiling. I love and am passionate about my work all time.

I now work for this truly amazing! man who has single handedly develop a frontline charity and who is on a extraordinary mission in life. He has set to work to alleviate poverty through empowerment, enterprise and education. Sustainability is at the heart of FACE's work – which is why we believe a hand-up is more effective than a hand out. Our aim is to provide innovative and holistic educational and supportive mentoring programmes, which place the power to change firmly in young people’s hands. Our pathway is two-fold: while we aim to empower young African through our field projects in Uganda, we also believe that it is imperative for the youth in the UK to become engaged with today’s pressing global development issues. In 2013 the director will start work with schools across the UK in our FACES-UK project promoting interactive learning amongst young people, with the aim of developing attributes of responsible, global citizens!

I know that to accomplish what we want to will take sometime and will have many hurdles to jump but I as the newly appointed operation officers of FACESAfrica am well prepared! My weapons are: enthusiasm, passion, creativity, a smile and the desire to make this world a better place for all of us!
