Olanrewaju Akinrefe is a Registered Dental Therapist, a Public Oral Health Practitioner, Public Health Speaker and a regular speaker on Lead City 89.1 FM Health File Show.
He is a seasoned and experienced Dental Therapist, educationist with focus on oral health and health education, diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
He has organized various medical outreaches to educate and care for the less privileged in the rural community of Ifo, together with his team he organised the National Smile month at Ifo Local Government, World Oral Health Day 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 respectively, in 2019 and 2020 on Air Presentation on World Oral Health Day at Lead City 89.1 FM and Lead Radio 106.3 FM respectively.
He is an alumnus of Daystar Leadership Academy Lagos. He has attended various seminar and workshop on oral health and health related issues both national and international. He is a member of many associations and body such as the Nigerian Dental Therapist Association (NDTA), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and Colgate Oral Health Network.
Olanrewaju holds a Higher National Diploma in Dental Therapy from the prestigious Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese Ijebu-Ode. Ogun State, Nigeria and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Osogbo/Ogbomosho, Osun State.
He also holds certificates in Project Management in Global Health as well as a certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the prestigious University of Washington.
Through his passion for leadership, dedication and excellence he served as the Auditor General National Association of Dental Health Student of Nigeria (NADHSN), Ilese Ogun State Chapter
He was the Pioneer Head of Department, Dental Surgery Technician Programme, a position he held for 2 years 5 months and was the team lead which facilitated in the full accreditation of the Department of Dental Surgery Technician Programme at Royal Institute of Health Technology, Ifo Ogun State, Nigeria.
