Support my charity

Hi, I’m Raymond. I was forced to stop working and started receiving disability benefits, a fixed income that I receive every month. I have severe depression and sleep apnea that caused me to fall asleep while I was at work. Damaged cartilage in my knees was causing me to fall. I have cataracts that have made me almost legally blind in one eye. And I’m only 50 years old. I also got divorced last October after 13 years of marriage. It has been a rough year.

Even though I’ve had a hard time, I do have goals and I’m determined to improve my life. The one thing that would help me out is to have a car so I can: 1) drive to my doctors’ appointments, 2) get groceries, 3) work a couple hours a week, and the most important reason, 4) see my 11-year-old son. I have joint custody, but since I don’t have a car, I only see him on weekends and have to rely on my ex-wife to pick me up.

You might think that having a car is a luxury, but for me, it’s a necessity. Will you help?
