Consultant, Project Manager, and Art Director in Greece
Olga Tabouris-Babalis, born in Thessaloniki, is an Arts and Cultural Management Professional. She has gained broad and extensive experience through her various collaborations with many Greek and international cultural institutions and foundations. She is member of committees and associations in Greece.
She is, for the last 20 consecutive years, the Artistic Director of the international music festival Sani Festival. She considers this long time collaboration with the tourism company SANI S.A., as a key achievement in her professional career.
She has, also, held the position of the General Director of the Northern Greece Entrepreneurs Cultural Society from 2010 - 2013. At the same period she has been the Director and Editor-in-Chief of the trimestrial cultural revue publication “Thessalonikeon Polis”.
In 2013 she was appointed, by the Municipality of Thessaloniki, as the Artistic Programmer and Executive Artistic Coordinator for the 48th DIMITRIA performing arts festival.
Since 2015 is collaborating as a Cultural Management Advisor and Member of the Advisory Board and Evaluation Committee of the capacity building and fellowship program START-Create a Cultural Change: a Robert Bosch Stiftung initiative in partnership with the Goethe Institut Thessaloniki and the Federal Association of SocioCultural Centres of Germany.
She’s married with the internationally awarded product designer, Athanassios Babalis and they have two daughters.
