Olga Kuzmina
Hi! I'm Olga, a translator, editor, and scholar of all things Russia. When I was five years old, my parents decided to move from Moscow to Missouri. And so this little sprout of a Russian girl was transplanted into the flower pot of American suburbia.
Today I research Russian politics at the Center on Global Interests and serve as Managing Editor of Chtenia, a journal of Russian literature in English translation. I also volunteer as a reading tutor at a local elementary school and host a biweekly book club on Russian literature.
Previously I've been an art museum guide, produced stories for radio, and catalogued Slavic publications in the depths of my university library. You can usually find me reading up on a new subject (publishing, new media, urban design), exploring the food and theater scene in DC, and planning my next travels.
