Language acquisition, isn't it fascinating? After my Erasmus at Heriot-Watt in Edinburgh I'm looking forward to learning a lot more about it! In the meanwhile I handle my Eternal Student Syndrome and my longing to return to Scotland as best as I can: being a High School English Teacher which I find incredibly rewarding and exciting.
I've always been passionate about languages and so it seemed natural to become a translator. I've been lucky enough to be able to work with NGOs like Doctors Without Borders the UNHCR and UNICEF and I've also had the chance to work with environmental companies, which makes me feel my skills are put to a good use!
