XML freak, Genealogist, and Outdoor junkie in Remshalden, Germany
I was born in Stuttgart, a beautiful metropolis in Swabia.
In the 1980s, I moved to the Remstal Valley with my parents. I'm deeply rooted there: I spent my school years there, met my wife, got married, and my two sons were born there.
In my spare time, I enjoy being in nature. I mostly go hiking and climbing with my family in the local Alps. I also enjoy sports such as running, archery, and other athletic activities.
If I have any time, I also research my ancestors and family history. You can find more information about it on my website, but it's only in German, sorry!
Professionally, I work with XML and do cross-media publishing, particularly in the area of PIM (product information management).
