Oliver Liegel

Oliver is a Director Executive Search at Ginkgo Search Partners based in Beijing. He has extensive experience as a consultant in executive search and recruitment projects in Europe and across Asia-Pacific.

His main consulting focus is on mid to senior management searches for multinational firms expanding in the Greater China region. Oliver also provides market intelligence and competitor screenings and helps corporations as well as internationally operating mid-sized companies to define their talent management strategies.

Oliver serves a member of the industrial and professional services practice group. Besides, Oliver is a member of the Human Resources Working Group at the European Chamber of Commerce in China and author of various publications about Human Resources Management in China.

Prior to joining Ginkgo Search Partners, Oliver was a Senior Consultant for one of the global top ten executive search firms where he was serving as a member of the global professional services and automotive practice group. Previously he was a Executive Search Consultant at a German boutique executive search firm, based in Berlin and Beijing.

He studied international economics at the University of Applied Sciences, Bremen, Germany and the University Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. After obtaining his master’s degree he completed a postgraduate study program in Human Resources Management from the Free University of Berlin.

He is fluent in German, English and French and speaks some Italian and Chinese.
