Oliver is a philosopher and anthropologist at the University of Oxford.
He teaches a masters course on evolution and human behaviour (including research design and statistics), and conducts research into social behaviour and the nature of morality. His current focus is cross-cultural differences in moral values.
Oliver is currently developing training courses in business ethics – combining the best of game theory, experimental psychology, and moral philosophy to create an unforgettable introduction to 'doing the right thing'. Oliver can also advise companies on 'effective altruism' – putting your good where it will do the most.
