I am not a traditional marketing professional; I have experience in both creative and strategic roles. Here are a few things my experiences have helped me develop:
- I am trained to think creatively about business. I have recently completed a graduate degree at the top advertising school in the country, the VCU Brandcenter. For me, creating meaningful experiences and growing the bottom line are part of the same equation.
- I am comfortable operating at the executive level. I have interfaced directly with executive leadership, from the President and Chief Customer Officer of Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Products Group to the former Dean of Harvard Business School, among others.
- I am a skilled teacher and comfortable in front of a group. I believe that helping people solve problems depends on the ability to help them learn the necessary skills to implement a solution.
- I can lead and follow where I am. I've been given many opportunities to lead become familiar with the challenges and opportunities in directing others; I've also learned that leadership doesn't always require being in charge.
- I have broad client and professional experience. I understand the challenges of bureaucracy and committee, the constraints of budget and time, and the coordination of people and resources.
