Hi there, I’m Olivia. I’m a student at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I spend my spare time reading, socializing with friends, and playing on the varsity volleyball team for my school. Playing volleyball is major passion of mine, and is something that drives me day in and day out to pursue the best version of myself. By working out and practicing everyday, I have learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance - traits that I utilize in my everyday life off the court. My work/volunteer experience consists of serving, coaching, and volunteering at elementary schools. My volunteering experiences are what have stuck with me the most, and are what have contributed to my belief that teaching children the importance of living an active lifestyle is something that cannot be emphasized enough. There is no better feeling than sparking a fire within a child’s mind, and knowing that you’ve left them better than when you found them. This, along with my budding interest in living an eco-friendly lifestyle, and supporting global climate change initiatives are a large part of my life outside of school and volleyball.
