I am majoring in Special Education at the University of Georgia. I work as a paraprofessional in a self- contained classroom with students that have mild intellectual disabilities. I love working with students, especially those that have difficulty learning through traditional methods. It is a fun challenge to try and introduce topics or subjects in ways these students will comprehend and retain. I love observing the strides the students make on this sometimes arduous journey towards learning.

One of my favorite joys in life is being outside. I would love to work in a camp- like setting where my interests in working with children and doing fun outdoor activities are merged.
