Olivia Austin

Olivia Austin is a high school student living in Western Springs, IL. She attends Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, IL and is in the top of her class. She is committed to playing basketball at Dartmouth College in the fall of 2024. At Nazareth, she is a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society), National Society of High School Scholars, and is an Illinois State Scholar as well as an AP Scholar. At Nazareth Academy, Olivia Austin is involved in Student Council, where she is a member of the Council’s Executive Board. She also is a member of Youth Initiative (4 years), which includes acting as a focus group facilitator, a member of the mental task force and red ribbon week committee, and a freshman orientation leader. Austin is also a Senior Freddie Fanatic Leader and part of the Student Liturgy Prep team. Additionally, she participates in SMILE (Students Mixing in the Lives of Elderly) for 4 years, she has peer tutored 2 years, and been a member of the Roadrunner club for 2 years. She is also an active member of the Community Builders for Peace service program. Athletically, Austin has played Varsity Basketball (4 years), Varsity soccer (4 years), and Varsity Volleyball (3 years), where she has 2 state championship medals, 2 2nd place medals and has earned ESCC all conference in soccer 3 times, volleyball 2 times, and basketball 2 times.
