Soprano Olivia Boen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Voice at Oberlin Conservatory Under the guidance of Daune Mahy. In the summer of 2014, she performed as Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the six-week language and musical style program Oberlin in Italy. During this time, Ms. Boen had the opportunity to study with world-renowned coaches while undertaking her first operatic lead. Also in 2014, Olivia was seen performing Bach cantata arias with Emmanuel Music in a three-week project with fellow Oberlin students. She has been the recipient of a number of awards, including second prize of The American Prize, Bravo Award winner at the Bel Canto Foundation, and second place at the Chicago Chapter of NATS.
