My name is Olivia Raftery Hallinan, and I was born on December 19th, 2005; however, I was not the only Hallinan born on December 19th, 2005. Also accompanying me was my twin brother, Henry Joseph Hallinan. For a lot of my life, the people around me didn't know I was a twin because we didn't attend the same schools, we didn't look alike, and we didn't do any of the same activities. Yet he has remained a constant in my life. This boy, friend, brother is someone who has seen me in every stage of life and will continue to do so. He will be the only person in this world who has experienced the same things as I at the same time. We have learned so much of this world together, yet it's not known to most people that we are twins. My parents' divorce, Dad getting cancer, my older sister graduating, and us graduating, and one day our kids growing up together and going to our weddings are all things that only he and I will or have encountered in our lives. My twin made me stronger and partially bullied me into a sense of who I am today. Whenever he would pick on me, he would say, “It's to keep ya humble, Lou.” All the things he taught, like how not to embarrass myself in front of boys or how to change my flat, are little aspects of my life that have come from him. As much as I’m encouraged to write a biography on a single aspect of my life, I think it's best to discuss the person who has experienced every single aspect of my life. I’ll end this little bio here. I have a twin named Henry, and he is an aspect of my life not many may know about, but definitely the most invaluable.
