Olivia Walton

I am a writer, content creator, and student based in Victoria, B.C. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for my entire life and enjoy taking advantage of the many incredible activities this coast offers: surf trips, hikes, camping and bike rides are how I fill my weekends!

I currently work for Atomique Productions where I am a part of the social media team for Rifflandia, Rock The Shores, and the Phillips Backyard Weekender. My responsibilities include text- and image-based content creation, posting and scheduling content, monitoring and analyzing interaction and engagement statistics, and responding to audience feedback.

I also work for This Side of West, the undergraduate literary journal at the University of Victoria, as the Director of Social Media.

Writing is my passion, and to that end I am completing my BFA in Creative Nonfiction with a minor in Professional Writing at UVic. I have been published in Rifflandia Magazine, This Side of West (2013/2014 and 2014/2015), and The Martlet.

My travels have taken me to Europe, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and North America. Upon graduating I plan on packing my life into a Delica and driving down to Central and South America, but aim to one day call Indonesia my home.
