As a student at King Low Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, Connecticut, Olivia Savitz excelled in both English and calculus. She also played on the varsity soccer team for four years and on the varsity lacrosse team for three years. After receiving her high school diploma in 2015, Olivia Savitz matriculated at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she particularly enjoyed a course in detective fiction that studied novels such as Silence of the Lambs and Mystic River.

Seeking a bigger and more diverse college with a wealth of academic and social options, Olivia Savitz transferred to New York University (NYU) after her freshman year. Her favorite class at NYU thus far has been Introduction to Marketing. As a psychology major, Ms. Savitz was extremely interested to examine the reasons that people tend to gravitate toward specific products and brands. She also enjoyed studying the carefully planned techniques that companies employ to market products to the public.
