Olivia Trefiak

Hi there! My name is Olivia Trefiak I was born and raised in Stratford, Ontario. I am currently studying Professional Communications at Ryerson University in Toronto. With my degree, I hope to go into the Marketing or Social Media fields. Over the duration of the past year, I have worked with a business in my hometown running their social media accounts. With their accounts, I took the initiative to think of new ideas to implement into their accounts to give them the vision they wanted. I took all the pictures for their social media and website. By taking on this role I came to the realization that social media or marketing is the direction I want to take my career in. A goal of mine is to one day work at the Stratford Festival in the social media department.

One of my biggest passions is dance. I have been a competitive dancer for 15 years and am very dedicated to the art. This year I have joined the Ryerson Dance Pak and will be apart of the team for the year, performing at school events and representing the school at competitions. An aspiration of mine is to travel the world. I would like to travel to different countries to experience new cultures and surroundings. This aspiration of mine would be beneficial for my career to enhance the artistic aspects of my marketing skills.
