Keene, NH
I am a 29 year old practicing Mahayana Buddhist from Keene NH. I am a recovering alcoholic drug addict, and believe that no matter what mistakes a person makes all that really matters is how you heal and recover. What happens when we fall? We get right back up, and try again, right? Right now I am working on a few projects; my baby being a foundation with the aim of giving alcoholics and addicts just out of rehab real resources to alleviate some of the pressures of starting over. For those without licenses due to DWI's I want to get them bicycles, for those without good clothing I want to get them clothing that will help them shine in job interviews, for those with serious dental problems I want to get them full dental restorations, and for those on probation and parole I want to help find them safe housing, and employment to minimize their risk of recidivism. For the mentally ill I want to put them in the hands of skilled professionals who will help them cope with whatever diagnoses they are given without the abuse of substances. Other than that I try to raise money for shelters, and raise awareness that being an addict, an alcoholic, or a felon is not a death sentence. All things are possible through patience, perseverance, hard work, and strict adherence to a moral code. My hobbies include writing, reading, being with friends, and the occasional artwork I do. I hope that you enjoy what I have to say, and that I can inspire you to be kinder, more compassionate, and to realize that we are all in this together.
