Olona Mathentombi

I am a student nurse at the University of Fort Hare currently residing in East London. My interests range from writing to education. I am also interested in baking, gardening, and fashion.As a student nurse, I've embarked on a journey that's both rewarding and demanding. From late-night study sessions to hands-on clinical experiences, I've learned valuable lessons that will shape my future career. I've faced challenges like balancing academics and clinical rotations, managing stress, and developing confidence in my skills. However, the triumphs have made it all worthwhile - providing compassionate care to patients and families, witnessing patients' progress and recovery, and building meaningful relationships with colleagues and mentors. Through this journey, I've learned the importance of empathy, teamwork, and continuous learning. I'm excited to continue learning and growing, and I'm passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others as a future nurse.
