I’ve built my career in nursing around patient care, continued education, and helping others grow within the profession. Over more than 17 years in healthcare, I’ve worked in acute care, long-term care, community health, and home health, which has given me a broad view of what patients and care teams need in different settings.
My path began with CHHA certification before I became a Licensed Practical Nurse. I continued my education by earning an associate degree in nursing and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I’m also continuing my studies at the graduate level. Each step has helped me expand my clinical knowledge while preparing me for greater leadership responsibilities.
Today, I serve as President and CEO and Director of Nursing of Total Health Care Services in Florida and New Jersey. My work allows me to combine nursing experience with leadership, staff development, and home-based patient care. I value the opportunity to support patients in the comfort of their own homes while also helping nurses and healthcare staff provide consistent, professional care.
Nursing education is another important part of my work. I’m the author of the NCLEX-RN/LPN Last Minute Comprehensive Review Book, which I created as a practical study resource for nursing students and graduates preparing for their licensure exams. I enjoy finding ways to make complex information easier to understand and more useful for future nurses.
I’ve also received academic recognition through organizations including Sigma Theta Tau International, Phi Theta Kappa, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Outside of healthcare, I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, and soccer. I continue to focus on growing as a nurse, leader, and educator while contributing to the profession in ways that support both patients and future nurses.
