I really don’t want this to be about me, but I know I always want to know a bit about the people behind the blogs I follow so here I am.

The influence - I grew up with a Dad who was very mindful of the foods we ate, their sources, the environment, you probably guessed, yes, sports, he played tennis and was very mindful of his life and the impact of his actions to others.

At a point in his life, he went on a fruit fast for twenty eight days and shed some weight. My mom had to learn how to bake wheat bread at the time, salad was regular at dinner and fruit was served every morning. Honey was strictly the preferred sweetener (how my mom laboured over making her own honey too) and very little salt was used in cooking. Hardly ate anything from cans or packets. We had a little farm within the garden. Mom ate pawpaw fruit from her garden most mornings. Fresh vegetables, tomatoes, pepper and more were always available from the farm and really, I could still go on.

From There on: You now know why this Wife of an Amazing Man, Mother to three adorable Grown-Ups, Lawyer, Human Resource Consultant, Passionate Organic Farmer who makes her own organic body products is now blogging!

I have always been fascinated by alternative medicine, eating right, growing right. I love being a Nigerian; I love our local prints, local foods, drinks and culturally rich heritage. I love the environment and try to do what I can to protect it and improve it. I enjoy making my own soap, cream, shampoo, body sprays and plan to go commercial soon. I enjoy making regular recipes healthier. I am soooo convinced that what we eat has the greatest impact on our health.
