Olusola (Olu) Amusan is a modern African polymath and the Co-Founder and CEO of Vesti, the world’s first AI-powered super-app for immigrants, building the digital infrastructure that simplifies migration for users from over 131 countries moving to North America and Europe for education and work. With a background in software engineering and systems design, Olu combines technical mastery with human-centered thinking to bridge the gap between AI, finance, and legal inclusion helping more than 150,000 users navigate relocation seamlessly. Before founding Vesti, he led technology and workforce projects for Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, the World Bank, Shell, Sterling Bank, First Bank, GIZ, Ashoka, and others, delivering large-scale skills programs that empowered thousands across Africa. These experiences grounded his belief that innovation should be inclusive, scalable, and tied to human advancement.

Trained as a software engineer, Olu holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence and is a PhD candidate researching AI-enabled biometric surveillance for airline passengers. He also completed the Nonprofit Strategy program at Philanthropy University and the Blockchain Essentials specialization at
IBM, deepening his technical and strategic capacity to build systems that
connect technology with social impact.
Living between Lagos, Dallas, and San Francisco, Olu operates at the intersection of innovation and inclusion. Beyond Vesti, he builds across education, hardware, and finance through initiatives like Blackshore, Africa’s first AI-native hardware company, Curators University, a next-generation institution for indigenous technology, and White Storks– a $10-trillion AUM wealth management vision for Africa’s future.

Guided by a systems-thinking philosophy, Olu represents a new generation of African innovators , technologists, educators, and builders using artificial intelligence to expand human potential and reimagine what global mobility, learning, and prosperity can look like for the next century.
