One thing about me is that I don’t like problems, I love solving them. That mindset has shaped my journey as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Not too long ago, I was testing a mobile app for a fintech startup. Everything seemed perfect on the surface. But while testing transactions across different devices, I noticed something odd, it worked perfectly on a tablet, but silently failed on smaller Android screens. No error message, no feedback, just stillness.

It would have been easy to overlook, but I couldn’t ignore it. I dug in, traced the issue, and discovered that the confirm button was sending an incomplete call to the backend on smaller screens. No one had caught it because all prior testing had been done on larger devices.

I flagged it, explained the impact, and collaborated with the dev team to fix it just in time for launch. We avoided a major release-day issue, and most importantly, protected the user experience.

This is what I bring to every project, curiosity, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to making sure things work the way they should. I don’t just test to check boxes, I test to uncover what real users might struggle with.
