With over five (5) years of experience in the health and youth development sectors, Oluwadamilola is an emerging health systems leader, a health writer, and a Monitoring and Evaluation Associate at Health Emergency Initiative. In this role, she designs metrics and systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s projects. Her interest in health systems stems from recognizing that the inaccessibility of well-equipped healthcare facilities and the lack of extensive healthcare insurance are major contributors to delayed medical intervention and increased mortality rates.

She has written more than fifty (50) health articles and contributed to various digital health platforms by crafting carefully researched, accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimised patient-education content. Her work has helped educate audiences effectively and improved the media visibility and web traffic of these platforms.
Passionate about social change, Oluwadamilola has planned, managed, and executed projects focused on adolescent health, gender equality, road safety, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), road safety, quality education, and employability.
As a social innovator and solution provider, she identified the knowledge deficit in personal health as a major cause of poor and risky health behaviours among adolescents. To address this issue, she established 'The Adolescent Holistic Health Initiative, Africa,' which has positively impacted over 500 adolescents in Lagos, Nigeria.
Oluwadamilola is an alumna of the Arts in Medicine Fellowship, a Fellow of the Women Techster Fellowship, a participant in the Young Professional Bootcamp, and an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
A firm believer in collective social action, Oluwadamilola is open to opportunities and partnerships that will advance the Sustainable Development Goals in Africa and globally, with a particular focus on Goals 3, 4, 5, and 8.
