Oluwatobi Adewumi is a Nurse, Digital Health Innovator, and an advocate for bridging the healthcare divide in Africa through cutting-edge technology.

With over 5 years of hands-on experience in healthcare, he has witnessed firsthand the immense potential of merging healthcare with innovation. His Journey Started as a Nurse, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the intricate needs of patient care and the healthcare system.

Along the way, he delved into the dynamic worlds of Product Design and Product Management, as well as Data Science. This fusion of medical expertise and tech-savvy thinking has been a game-changer, allowing him to envision and develop revolutionary healthcare initiatives.

Oluwatobi have actively participated in numerous innovation initiatives and hackathons, both as a Participant and a Judge. From NurseHack4Health to the Innovate Nursing Challenge, he has been on the front lines of creating and evaluating groundbreaking solutions.

His journey has taken him to the spotlight as a Keynote Speaker and Panelist at prestigious platforms and events, both locally and internationally, sharing insights on innovation, health technology, and digital health, inspiring audiences to envision a future where technology redefines healthcare.

He is a recipient of a number of recognitions including the honor of Best Speech at the National Florence Nightingale Trophy Speech Contest in 2019, OAUTHC Leadership Award 2019, Finalist in the African Healthcare Awards, Healthcare Innovation Category, in 2023, among other achievements.

Currently, he leads a passionate team of Healthcare Innovators at Innovate Health Africa. They are on a mission to identify and craft tailor-made, tech-enabled solutions to address the unique healthcare challenges faced by our communities in Africa.
