Oluwatoyin Sodipe

Oluwatoyin Sodipe is a management consultant, people development professional, corporate trainer, public speaker, career coach, and author. She has over (10) years of cumulative work experience across West Africa, East Africa and North America providing HR advisory, change management, business transformation, corporate strategy development, and project management services to companies within a wide range of sectors such as financial services, oil and gas, telecommunications, healthcare, education, logistics & transportation, fashion & beauty and public sector.

Oluwatoyin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Labour Relations with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the University of Lagos in Nigeria. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (ACIPM), a member of the Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP) Network, USA, a licensed Human Resource Practitioner (HRPL) and an Associate of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ)

Oluwatoyin previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at SESEWA, Nigeria’s 1st internship focused and foremost career development organization. An organization where she started her career as an intern and then emerging to become the CEO providing strategic direction to a team of young professionals who are committed to solving Africa’s unemployment and educational challenges.

As a learning & development specialist, Oluwatoyin has a strong knack for imparting knowledge and human capacity building. She is the founder of Velvet Consulting & Advisory (VCA), a people development firm, and also the lead facilitator at Velvet Learning Academy (VLA), a learning organization that trains, coaches, and mentors recent graduates and young professionals as they are equipped with 21st-century skills to thrive and excel in the workplace and life in general. She is a regular facilitator at global organizations such as the African Leadership University, Wells Mountain Initiative and International Internships Network
