Omaira Rodríguez

I'm a Literary agent and a Cultural Producer.

I studied Literature, Communications and Cinema.

After working for a decade in the Advetising industry (of which a career highlight has been managing Coca-Cola's advertising projects for Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay), I changed my path to Cultural managment, with special focus on Comercialization. I have carried out several cultural projects related to music, publishing, theater, press, cinema, audiovisual industry, dance, science, visual arts and also sports.

In 2013 I was appointed by the National Board of Culture of Uruguay to sell Uruguayan books rights in International Book fairs. Since then I represent an annual selection of fiction and non fiction uruguayan titles in the Frankfurt and Guadalajara Book fairs, and a special children and young adult selection in the Bologna fair.
