I was born and raised in San Antonio and grew up attached to my family. I was part of the first generation of kids to be born in the U.S. I developed a passion for mathematics at a young age and was entered in advanced courses since i was in elementary school. In high school I joined the Air Force Junior ROTC where I developed a sense of patriotism and corps values that are the basis of my character: Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all I do. Without a doubt it's the best decision I made in high school. I was on the Drill Team, marksmanship team, rocketry team, orienteering team, cyber patriot team, the spirit squad, and many other small non-competition teams all of which i have learned and picked up from. All of the competition teams, community service opportunities, and amazing memories that JROTC provided me swayed me to pursue College ROTC so that I can be an automotive engineer in the Air Force.
