Omer Aziz is a writer, freelance journalist, policy wonk, and graduate student of International Relations at Cambridge University. He is both a Commonwealth and a Pitt Scholar.

Omer previously worked for Deloitte Global Public Sector in Toronto where he helped research "The Solution Revolution" (Harvard Business Review Press, 2013) and worked on a variety of public sector-focused projects. He has also worked in government, academia, and investment banking.

Born and raised in Toronto, with stints in Boston (2008), Ottawa (2009), and Paris (2010), Omer graduated with an Honours B.A. in Political Studies from Queen's University in 2012 as the Gold Medalist of his class.
