Dr. Eker works as a researchfellow in IVHM Centre, CranfieldUniversity, holds his PhD from the Schoolof Aerospace Transportation andManufacturing, Cranfield University, UK.He received his BSc degree in Mathematicsand MSc in Computer Engineering fromMarmara and Fatih Universities respectively, Istanbul,Turkey. He currently works on a project on physicalnetwork modelling of environmental control system of a specific passenger aircraft. He has also involved in variousprojects funded by UK and Turkey government and/orindustrial bodies in between 2009 - 2014. His researchinterests include failure diagnostics and prognostics,condition based maintenance, pattern recognition and datamining.
