Jacqueline Ruiz

Hello my name is Jacqueline but I prefer to go by Jackie. I am 19 years old and I go to California State University of Long Beach. I am a sophomore and majoring in Child Development. My inspiration to major in child development was my little brother who was born with a disability. When he was a baby, he had a teacher coming to the house to play with him to help him out in his development. That is when I realized that I wanted to be more involved with children. Not only by helping my brother but also helping other children and their family. After knowing what i wanted to major in i also attended workshops such as a motor skills workshop. I also volunteered at a preschool and I eally liked it. I enjoy working with kids!
