Omolola Faleye is a Beauty Entrepreneur and an Expert within the Beauty Management and Trade industry with 17 years’ worth of experience in dynamic roles across industries. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja and a certification in Innovation and Strategy from Harvard Extension School.

Omolola leverages on her knowledge of project planning cum management, her years of exposure to the intricacies and dynamics of the beauty industry and her passion for the cosmetics and beauty industry to help beauty businesses and entrepreneurs build profitable and successful brands.

Omolola is the Founder of Africa’s largest Makeup and Beauty Industry Trade Show - The MakeUp Fair Series (TMUFS) which has hosted 59 successful events across 12 major cities was created with the vision of revolutionising the beauty business in Nigeria by providing a credible and vibrant trade platform for industry professionals and businesses to expand exposure and increase sales.

The MakeUp Fair Series is a direct response to the previous non-existence of beauty trade shows curated exclusively for the makeup and beauty industry. Omolola, a YouWin awardee identified this gap during her YouWin grant application in 2012 and to serve this need, she created the platform which has since grown in leaps under her management.

Her commitment to excellence and her passion for the beauty industry have been repeatedly recognised. She received the LLA100Women award in 2017, an award that was given in recognition of the Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria. In 2017, her business was recognised by SME100 as one of the Most Innovative Female-Owned businesses in Nigeria. She was also a nominee for the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year by the Genevieve Beauty Awards in 2016.

She is intentional about professional development and continues to grow her competence through professional certifications and training programmes. She is trained in Business Management from Daymond John Academy; Digital Marketing from School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University; Creative Enterprise (CEP) –British Council Nigeria and Youth Enterprise with Innovation – EDC Pan African University. She equally holds an executive certification in Project Management from Project Management College, UK.
