Omotolani Adebowale is a passionate and pragmatic business manager with a strong track record of driving growth and making an impact. As an entrepreneurial individual, she builds and collaborates with reputable businesses, communities, and brands to create positive impacts and enhance profitability.
Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Read to Impact, a dynamic social enterprise brand providing reading empowerment and support for young people. Over the last two years, she successfully managed a team of about 5 and grew the brand's audience into a vibrant community of avid readers from nearly 40 African countries.
Passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals, she has a keen interest in Goals 4 and 5—Quality education and Gender equality. She has served as a two-time coordinator and host of Dream Africa, an annual conference that significantly impacted the lives of over 100 emerging African women. The conference covers essential knowledge areas such as Personal Branding for Professional Success, kickstarting a career in the tech industry, securing global academic opportunities, and understanding the pivotal role of literature in empowering African women. Additionally, she successfully facilitated connections among more than 200 dynamic African women, fostering networking opportunities. Over the two years of hosting Dream Africa, her speakers came from about 10 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Nigeria, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Malawi.
In 2022, she was honored to receive the Staff of the Year award for her exceptional leadership skills and unwavering commitment to driving results.
In addition to her work experience, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. In December 2022, she completed her Mini-MBA at Tekedia Business Institute and received a diploma. To further hone her diplomacy skills, she has participated in several IMUN Online Conferences.
Her core values of integrity, leadership, and enterprise guide her in all aspects of her work. Aside from work, she is a free-thinker who enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and interacting with intelligent minds across the globe.
