Whitney Morton

Whitney Morton is a 26 year old writer from small-town Wisconsin who now lives in Michigan. Born the daughter of alcoholics (her parents met at an AA meeting,) it would seem her story should have ended the way many do- a girl lost to addiction. When her mother took her own life after a life-long battle with depression and substance abuse, addiction did, in fact, take it's seat in Whitney's life. But, after years of heroin addiction and poor choices, and later working in the field of addiction counseling, the battle seems to be over.
In constant persuit of her passion for writing, Whitney decided that the best way to be successful is to do what you love. With this blog she combines the two: writing and helping other's overcome what she has: drug addiction.
