Somewhere in Washington
I am an open and honest individual, but at the same time I can be really withdrawn. I love solitude. Being alone with my thoughts can be dangerous, yet rewarding, but they always make for a really good poem, or short story.
Hmm...why do I write?
I write because I enjoy the way it feels. It frees my mind of the chaos that ensues me on a daily basis. I write because I'm pissed off, sad and confused; I write because sometimes . . . my voice shakes.
My pen never shakes. It kisses the pages of my Moleskin journal and welcomes the words with grace and trust, never betraying me. Never judging. Never telling, unless I give permission.
