Hi, I’m Onyebigwa Mirabel—storyteller, writer, dark romance enthusiast, and a passionate advocate for mental health and women’s empowerment.

I wear many hats, but at the core of it all, I’m a storyteller. Whether I’m building fictional worlds filled with heart-wrenching secrets, broken heroes, and bold heroines, or helping other writers find their voice, one thing stays the same: I believe stories have power to inform and reform. It is only in literature we learn what we cannot learn anywhere else.

After developing a love for fiction at a very early age, I’ve since grown into a multi-genre writer with a deep love for dark romance, emotional tension, and stories that explore identity, trauma, healing, and love in all its messy forms.

I also hold a degree in Medical Biochemistry, and I’m actively involved in conversations around mental health, storytelling for impact, and building community for girls and women.

If you love meaningful stories, complex characters, mental health advocacy, and women doing bold things, you’ll feel right at home here.
