Anna Whitwam

I'm Anna Whitwam, the person behind Only 1 Design, a Huddersfield-based creative business combining photography, photography tuition and web development.

I've worked in web development for over 10 years, working with businesses, organisations and agencies to create and support websites. My experience covers WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, SEO, website optimisation and ongoing website support.

Photography has become an increasingly important part of what I do. I photograph sports, events, clubs and community activities, helping organisations create professional images for their websites, social media and marketing. I also run photography walks and private photography sessions, helping people build confidence, improve their skills and get more from their cameras and phones.

I enjoy photography because it gives me the opportunity to meet people, explore local places and capture things that are happening within the community. I'm particularly interested in sports and community photography, where there is always a story, an atmosphere or a moment worth capturing.

I'm also involved in local volunteering and community projects, using my photography to support organisations and events where I can. I believe creative work can be a great way to bring people together and help local organisations showcase what they do.
