Born and raised in Indianapolis, I first took an interest in the artistic realm through drawing at a young age. I use to create a bunch of little stories growing up, inspired from the popular cartoons and video games at the time. I didn't really get a chance back then to actually finish any of my works, due to my a many of ideas and concepts. It was fun though, creating my own characters and worlds, and it also nurtured my present day artistry.
During high school I was introduced to the art of dance, through the Madd Arts program hosted by my mentor David Orr. I never thought I'd be the dancing type, but here I am present day unable to sit still when a decent beat comes one. I found myself through the expression of dance, it was my freedom to living outside of a stencil I came to realize I had been living in.
I've been i numerous dance crews including starting and leading my own "Incognit0" Im sure there are still some youtube videos up somewhere. I was first introduced to design when I saw my present day wife working on a school project in photoshop. I'm not sure what she was working on, all I remember was a belly dancer and grizzly bear meeting on a page, and it instantly grabbed my attention. I feel like it spoke to younger me that used to create worlds. The idea of visually creating whatever I want, and expressing my imagination is something I've come to love for the last seven years of life.
