Opalina Salas

Hello, I’m Opalina. I’m a poet living in Dallas, Texas. I am a former editor of Let It Bleed Femme Zine out of Dallas TX. I am a regular performer at The Mad Swirl and a contributor on the website. I curate Poets on X+ in Oak Cliff TX, an open mic with featured travelling and local poets. I have participated in The Texas Beat Poetry Festival of 2012, The Forest Fest in Lamesa Tx in 2011 and The New Orlens Poetry Fest of 2016. I was the cohost of Attack of the Poets 2016 and 2017 and am a board member to WordSpace Dallas. I was also an actress in the movie Telefoto by Tropic Pictures in 2018.
