Hey grade 8s! My name is Ophelia Tsang, And I’m running to be your Grade 8 representative because I want to help make Cambie a more enjoyable learning environment for students of all ages.

I believe a good rep shouldn’t only listen to the loudest voices in the room. I want to hear from everyone, including people who might not always feel comfortable speaking up. Whether you have a big idea, a small suggestion, or just something you think could help make school more fun. I want you to know that your opinions are heard and taken seriously.

One of my biggest goals that I want to share is to bring new ideas that help students manage stress and mental health. School can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for secondary students, and I want to explore different solutions that make things a little easier. whether that means creating more opportunities to take breaks, sharing helpful resources, or finding ways for students to support each other.

If I’m elected rep, I’ll do my best to be someone you're comfortable to talk to, someone who listens, and someone who ACTUALLY tries brings your ideas forward, no empty promises!
