My West Indian background was one of a strict upbringing, wherein God and education was at the forefront. Years ago I gave up working to become a full time mom. As a wife and mother I was whole, but as a woman I felt incomplete, as I was not certain of my purpose. Writing was always an outlet for expressing my feelings, it wasn't only a coping mechanism, but a passion I hadn't realized. Growing up, I was referred to as a loner, not desiring the need of friends, however wanting acceptance from others. I sat in my emotions good and bad alike. Though I was estranged from who I was, I found joy in uplifting others especially, if their hurts mimicked the ones that were chained to me. With this awakening I found my purpose, which led me to my own Rebirth. I became a writer, because I finally found my voice and through my words, I saw how I was able to inspire others. So, while writing was my way of coping with life, it was healing for someone else’s. Now, my mission is helping others to release their insecurities and/or pains, whether it be past or present, so they can move forward building a happier and better future as I have found, and am living today.

I am now a Speaker & the proud Author, of "Cherish Your Challenges" a book of Affirmations designed to Empower, Encourage, Support & Uplift the Mind, Body & Spirit. Also, a co-author in an upcoming book called the "Art Of Activation" which will be launched in September.
