Oran Cohen

Oran Cohen is known as an "IMAGINEER". He has the ability to facilitate ideas into reality and has served as an inspiration to dozens of individuals and organisations.
Oran is the founder and Managing Director of Genius Works, a consultancy assisting leaders to become innovators and change-makers.

Oran is a passionate business and social entrepreneur, consultant, facilitator and creative strategist. He understands the subtleties of the business world and the art of creating true and lasting change within its walls. Oran has worked with organisations such as Sappi, PABX, UNICEF, Vox Telekom, Standard Bank and Raizcorp. He is a SETA accredited Facilitator and Assessor.

In 2010 Oran was chosen to study Creative Problem Solving with Disney’s Imagineers. In 2009 he was selected as one of the most interesting young South Africans by the Mail and Guardian and has been called an emerging young global leader by different international organisations.

He has run workshops and interventions in countries such as Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Ghana, South Africa, Canada and Nepal. Oran is now a board member on a United Nations NGO alongside Hinda Miller, the Governor of Vermont and Clarence Jones, the speechwriter for Martin Luther King.

Oran is the founder and MD of Genius Works Consulting, through which he has coached various organisations and worked on the creation of many brands and products. Genius Works continues to be a forerunner in equipping leaders with the cutting-edge tools and skills needed to lead change and innovation within an changing world.
